Transforming Dreams Into Reality Somewhere in Tampa

You don't need a thousand dollars; all you truly need are two great friends.

Have you ever had a dream that lingered in the back of your mind for years, waiting for the right moment to come to life? For me, that dream was to open a personal studio. I just went to see a space available in the old A. Santaella Cigar Factory, that was built in 1904. I was just curious. I had no plans that day to start fulfilling my dream! But I could not resist falling in love with the space...

This dream started finally taking shape, and it was all thanks to my two best friends (one flew from California, another one- from Tennessee to help me tackle this project) who are not only handy but also well-versed in interior design and DIY projects. Together, we embarked on a journey to remodel and upgrade a multi-purpose photoshoot studio, and the transformation that followed was nothing short of magical.

From the beginning, I had a clear vision for the studio. I wanted a space that would be as dynamic as my creativity, a place where I could host photoshoots, video shoots, and artistic collaborations. The studio needed to be a canvas for my imagination, adaptable to various themes and moods. This was the essence of a modern classic style that I had in mind – a timeless elegance mixed with contemporary functionality.

My friends, both passionate about design and DIY, were quick to jump on board. Their excitement matched mine, and together, we started planning every detail of the transformation. We knew this endeavor would be both challenging and rewarding.

Days of hard work, late nights, countless trips to Lowes and Home Depot, carefully selected paint colors, furniture and decor items, and shared laughter led to the final reveal of our dream studio. It was everything I had hoped for and more. The studio was now a unique and vibrant space, embodying the modern classic style I had envisioned. The versatility of the space allowed for a range of creative projects, from elegant fashion shoots to edgy music videos.

Opening a personal studio had long been a dream of mine, and I couldn't have asked for better friends to share this journey with. What was once just an idea had become a tangible space where creativity knew no bounds. This experience not only allowed us to transform a physical space but also strengthened our bond as friends. We learned, laughed, and created together, and that's something I will forever cherish. The modern classic style studio in Tampa stands as a testament to what can be achieved when dreams are pursued with passion, dedication, and the support of great friends.
